St Michael Conference

• Serve over 400 families a year in the Cobourg area
• Has 23 volunteers
• Over $45,000 in food vouchers were distributed last year
• funding provided by donations of parishioners at St. Michaels
• Clothing and furniture are provided through the SSVP Store in Bowmanville
• St. Michael’s is twinned with a SSVP Conference in Jamaica and donated $1,650 last year
• Lenten Food Drive at all Masses raised 800 pounds of food and $500 in donations for the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank
• In conjunction with the Salvation Army $3,000 is donated to the Annual Christmas Food Drive
• Scholarship of $500 is donated to St. Mary’s High School for post secondary education
