St. Therese Parish – Courtice

The St. Therese Conference in Courtice administers to 34 families in the area,  which comprises 148 individuals. This is the highest number of people the conference has ever served. There are 8 serving members of St. Vincent de Paul. Listed below is an explanation of what this assistance looks like:

• households receive grocery gift cards and items from the Bowmanville Value Store such as beds, mattresses, furniture, clothing and kitchen items, as the need arises
• helpful community phone numbers and information are provided to our neighbours in need
• extra Christmas assistance is provided for all families
• school supplies are provided for elementary and high school students
• coordination with other SSVP conferences from Brighton to Campbellford to share ideas, resources and a helping hand
• send financial aid to our SSVP twin: St. Martin de Porres SSVP , San Sauveur, Commonwealth of Dominica
